Midwest Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Industry Advisory Board (CIAB):

The task of the CIAB is to “ADVISE, ASSESS, AND ASSIST” CSSIA with implementing successful competition "events."  The CIAB also may help event project staff consider and resolve concerns and issues and provide a “snapshot” of progress to CSSIA. It is important to establish professional and collegial relationships to make this process work.

The CIAB will consist of eight to twelve national leaders in the fields of information assurance, IT security, cybercrime, computer forensics, evaluation and education. To assist CCDC event projects in achieving their full potential, the CIAB will:

1) advise the CCDC event leadership based on the collective expertise and perspectives of the CIAB membership; 2) assess progress and plans of CCDC events, and report their findings to event leadership; and 3) provide assistance in specific areas as identified by the CIAB.
